So we recently got my buddy’s Lexus 1UZ-FE V8 Swapped Jeep Wrangler up and running, and he decided the best way to break it in was to beat on it relentlessly.

Basic run down for those interested: 1995 YJ Wrangler; 1996 Lexus 1UZ V8 w/200k(!) miles. Chevy SM420 4 speed manual w/ 7:1 1st gear; custom machined 4Runner V6 flywheel; 4Runner pressure plate; Camaro clutch disc; Jeep NV273 Transfercase; Explorer 8.8" rear axle; Dana 30 front; 4.10 gears.

I love how your bumper is all but ripped off. I had a TJ and made sure I used the fram tie-ins just for this reason. Maybe you had them?

And as usual....... Another stock JK with invincibility mode turned on, lol.

Pretty fucking awesome.

Tho that thing must be lacking some torque for off-road use.

No tie ins, ripping the bumper off actually twisted and damaged the rear body mount, so that will need to be addressed.

dont need much torque with gear ratios and transfer case reduction.

Jesus Christ. Tough crowd.

Just assumed a small displacement dual cam v8 would have a undesirable powerband for offroad. I’m not an offroad guy Just a piece of shit goof I guess.
